An old Andalusian farmhouse with centuries of history, situated at the foot of Sierra Mágina (Cambil, Jaén), which enjoys magnificent views. Recently restored to give the greatest comfort keeping the typical rural architecture of the region which combines wood, wrought iron, clay, stone, and limestone.
The farmhouse has a total of 16 bedrooms (five 3-bedroom apartments, plus another apartment with one bedroom) with the capacity to comfortably accomodate 32 people, although additional beds (up to 90 cm) are available depending on the size of the rooms. This increases the capacity of accomodation to 44 people.
Each apartment has a large living room with a fireplace and view to Mount Almadén and Sierra Mágina, kitchenette/kitchen, and 3 ensuite bedrooms with whirlpool baths. It is possible to book the entire apartment or single rooms, as required.
The property consists of: reception, dining room, garden, terraces, game room, reading area, farmyard, orchards, forest, natural spring, parking and a shop that sells typical products from the area.
You can enjoy typical Andalusian meals (potaje, migas, cocido, arroz caldoso, conejo al ajillo, andrajos, tortas gachas, etc.) in our living-room/dining room which seats 45 people. Our chef will be happy to prepare the dish of your choice. Take the opportunity to collect eggs from the chicken coop, potatoes and peppers from the garden, and we will prepare it for you with chorizo from the region.
Various outdoor activities are available, including hiking, mountain biking, archery, caving, off-roading, and castle visits. We also have children's entertainment like clowns, Christmas activities, bouncy castle, etc. All of the above activities are carried out by the specialist company Active Tourism with qualified monitors authorized by the PN Sierra Mágina. All activities are covered by accident and liability insurance.
